Archiving and long-term preservation policy

Archiving

The editorial board of the “Ukrainian Psychological Journal” is committed to ensuring long-term access to its published research and undertakes all necessary technical measures to guarantee secure backup and open availability of the journal’s content.

Storage Locations

Each issue of the journal is published in both print and electronic formats. The electronic version is made freely available on the journal’s website and is deposited in the institutional repository of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – eKNUTSHIR.

The institutional repository of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, eKNUTSHIR, is integrated with the National Repository of Academic Texts of Ukraine.

Electronic copies of all journal issues are also deposited on the “Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine” platform of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. (irbis-nbuv)

Archiving Frequency

The journal's content is archived after each issue is published, ensuring continuous, timely preservation of all scholarly materials.

Licenses and Permissions

All archived content retains its original licensing terms. This ensures that readers and researchers may use the materials under the same conditions that applied at the time of their initial publication.

Policy Review

The journal’s archiving policy is reviewed every two years to ensure compliance with current best practices in scholarly publishing and digital preservation. Any updates or revisions will be announced on the official website of the journal.

Self-archiving Policy

Preprint

Authors may deposit the preprint version of their manuscript (a version that has not yet undergone peer review) in any repository, provided that the following statement acknowledging the publisher and the journal is included: “This is a preprint of a manuscript submitted for publication in the “Ukrainian Psychological Journal”, published by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.”

Postprint

Authors may deposit the postprint version of their article (the final publisher-formatted PDF version) in any subject-based, national, or international repository, provided that the publisher, journal title, and the article DOI are clearly indicated.
