Abstract
The problem of personality socialization is considered by taking into account significant changes in its general conditions that have led to new emerging phenomena. We distinguished two groups of conditions directly affecting socialization: changed intentions of social transformation, associated with the general orientation towards European integration; long-term consequences of the war (rapid growth of migration processes, humanitarian orientation of the world leading countries’ policies, transformation of mono-ethnic European states into poly-ethnic ones and accelerated multiculturalism at all levels of social life, transformation of the state-and-administrative management principles with the rejected principle of power and the adopted principle of self-government and delegation of powers, a tendency to «blur» the boundaries between different social groups and society structures, appearing «information society»).
The process of an individual’s socialization ceased to be socially determined, but has become a subjective action on identification with a community. Social forms of community organization became conditions for socialization, which occurs as a psychological process of self-determination and self-identification in the social space of life. Three forms of negative socialization have been developed in our society: socialization with strongly insufficient or complete absent positively oriented agents (deficient socialization); socialization in conditions of wide outspreading and legalization of various marginal society groups on the background of absent social institutions organizing free time and activities of children and adolescents (marginal socialization); socialization in conditions of wide access to all kinds of objects and activities that cause rapid addiction and personal dependence on their use: rejuvenated alcoholism, drug addiction, substance abuse, computer and gaming addiction (adaptability). Each form determines not only an individual’s psychological specificity, but also his/her holistic lifestyle models. Overcoming these negative models and opening some possibilities of building life on the basis of other models is the main task of resocialization.
Key words: socialization, deficient socialization, marginal socialization, social openness, conflict of identities, chronotope of life, consequences of war, community.
